MIAMI, FL– March 18, 2020 – Danette Gossett, Founder of Gossett Marketing Communications, Inc., Co-Founder of Promotions Resource, LLC, and co-author of the best-selling book, Transform, recently posted a new blog on her website entitled, “Get Ready For The 50th Anniversary Of Earth Day With Sustainable Promotional Items,” in which Ms. Gossett talks about disappearing natural resources.

Gossett writes, “This year marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.” She goes on to add, “It’s been half a century since that amazing first Earth Day that is “credited with launching the modern environmental movement and is now recognized as the planet’s largest civic event.” “That’s right,” she says, “on April 22, 1970, 20 million Americans – 10% of the U.S. population at the time – took to the streets, college campuses and hundreds of cities to protest environmental ignorance and to demand a new way forward for our planet.”

And, oceanic dead zones have quadrupled since 1950. So, as you can imagine, the demand for sustainable products is definitely not a passing trend.”
