Well, it’s officially the fourth quarter. This year truly flew. It’s actually hard to believe that we are 89 short days from 2017!!
So, today we started to reach out to those of our clients that we know have events, employee recognition, trade shows and holiday gift needs over these next 89 days. I have to admit that sometimes we feel as if we are nagging our clients, but we truly are only trying to save each and everyone some heartache.
I know, hard to believe, but it’s true. We hate when a client calls and what they need for a meeting next week now has a 2-3 week production time. Yes, this time of year production times get longer. More orders same time in a day so what might have been a 5 day production time is already 10-12 days as of October 1.
So us reaching out ahead is just our attempt to help make you look like a star!
That’s our job. As we get to know and understand your business needs and target audience we are always trying to keep you on track. We understand that getting through your day’s meetings and putting out fires is what takes up much of your day, but, promoting your business is paramount to staying in business.
It’s also the time of year that you need to remember to thank all your clients. Of course, maybe you like to thank with a simple holiday card (and maybe a charitable donation) or maybe you like to send food gifts or something more personalized. You don’t want to wait until the last minute for those either. What you had in mind might be sold out. Yes, that happens now too. Many of the manufacturers don’t want to be caught with lots of inventory at the end of year (tax implications), so not every item is available.
So, now is the time to spend a few minutes deciding what your needs are so you don’t get caught without for your November sales meeting or year-end employee recognition or that gift for your clients.
It could be the start of a stress-free holiday!
